Phillipa Lewthwaite - Chartered Accountant

Phillipa has nearly three decades of accountancy experience in public practice encompassing all aspects of business advice. Her farming background enables her to assist many clients from Banks Peninsula - as well as various South Island locations -to enable clients to make a living off the land.

She has advised Christchurch Netball for many years and remains their financial advisor.

Enjoys dealing personally with clients and overseeing the growth of their businesses. Her progressive outlook provides invaluable motivation and inspiration to both established and startup enterprises.

Passion for sports – enthusiastic tennis and golf participant.

Amanda Long - Chartered Accountant:

Amanda was raised on a sheep and beef farm in Southland. She joined Lewthwaite & Associates Ltd 15 years ago on a part time basis.

Her client base covers a wide range of industries. They mainly centre on farming or services to farming, but extend to manufacturing and retail. Lewthwaite & Associates is extremely fortunate to have her invaluable experience in the team.

She is married with 3 children and enjoys playing and coaching indoor and outdoor netball, and camping with her family.

Anna O'Dell Accounting Technician:

Anna began her career over 8 years ago with Lewthwaite & Associates Ltd. She is involved in the preparation of GST returns, PAYE, payroll and monthly reporting, taxation compliance issues together with annual work.
Enjoys assisting clients with the overall running of their business.

Loves meeting people and travel. She is a great sportswoman and is currently representing her club in both indoor netball at national level and outdoor netball in the local Premier competition. Enjoys watching the rugby and is a keen Crusaders fan.

Kurt Barrington - Accounting Technician:

Kurt came to Lewthwaite & Associates as the top student in his year at Burnside High and now has been with us for 3 years. His contribution is always to a very high standard.He is working as an Accounting Technician to gain experience and get a feel for the accounting industry.

Kurt is a university student who has just gained a BCom with an Accountancy & Finance Major and is currently fulfilling his final NZICA academic requirements.

Enjoys playing Rugby, Cricket, Golf and is just a sports fan in general.

Robert Aydon Accounting Technician:

Robert has recently earned his BCom, specialising in Accountancy. He is currently pursuing both the academic and practical requirements of Chartered Accountancy.

Julia Brown - Office Administrator:

Has been working in Chartered Accountancy firms for over 5 years. She loves being the front person for the firm and helping people with their MYOB queries including the preparation of GST, PAYE returns and reconciliation of systems. Her depth of knowledge is immense and provides Lewthwaite & Associates with a whole dimension of experience.

Enjoys a variety of different things including socialising, shopping, skiing (both water and snow) and travelling.

Loves the ocean and enjoys watching the All Blacks play and beat other teams!!!!

Matilda Prendergast: Office Clerk

Matilda has been a member of Lewthwaite & Associates for 2 years providing part time office assistance to Julia.

She is now studying full time in business administration but manages to work full time during holiday times. She is extremely capable and her cheerful, helpful approach provides a welcome contribution to the team.

Loves the movies, music, hanging out with family and friends and boating.
